Track Record

20+ years shipping software at Apple, Meta, and BlackBerry - four patents, billion-user scale, and independent builds to prove it.
A nautical chart plotting a course through US Navy, Apple, BlackBerry, Meta, and Grindr, ending at Amsterdam in 2026

Twenty-plus years of shipping software, from Navy communications suites to iPhones in a billion pockets. Kaperkunde is the freelance practice of Kevin Lohman — senior engineer at Apple and Meta, four-time patent holder, iOS specialist since 2008, and builder of full-stack, AI-accelerated products. Here's the proof.
